About
Lorrine M. Simon is a retired Federal Employee. She is a proud HBCU graduate from Norfolk State University. She has always enjoyed reading books and started writing poetry in middle school. Having a strong belief that reading is the foundation of all learning and knowledge, she became a volunteer tutor with the Life Enrichment Center (LEC), a non-profit providing literacy tutoring for elementary students. Anyone who asks about her experiences as a tutor will hear the excitement in her voice and see her eyes light up.
Those close to her would describe her as someone who has a fun-loving character, an avid reader, HGTV fanatic and enjoys making others laugh.
